Frank and Lenny were back on the Bluewave this morning and they brought Mike and Mike with them. The bite has been awesome lately but today was more of a grind out day which I don't mind. Nothing wrong with earning your fish. Our first stop was a bust with only a couple trout and a bull red so we searched and we searched. We got on one good bite of 25 pretty quick in which the trout wanted the Matrix double rig sitting on the bottom in about 12 foot of water. They were smoking the Ultra Violet. We hit numerous spots picking up 8 here 13 here but never the motherload. We put a full day before heading north with a nice mess of trout. The size was better today than recent but the numbers weren't as good.
