This morning was insane! Ron Brian and his buddy Tony joined me on the Bluewave. We had a shower cell just south of us so we waited it out before we left. Smooth seas for a change made for a great ride. The trout were on sleep mode when we first got there but like a light switch they turned on like a switch in about 15 minutes. Shrimp were jumping and the trout were everywhere. Double rigged Matrix as soon as you put it in the water had the yellowmouths shaking their heads all the way back to the boat. Ron and Tony made short work of the trout so we headed north and drifted two banks for reds. Not much going on but a rat red and a throwback trout so we took it to the house.
