I bought a Samsung in about that same price range a few years ago.
Ice maker never worked right.
The repair man replaced the whole ice maker unit twice in the first year and the problem was never solved. By the time I called SEARS back the third time their 1 year warranty was expired. Now I am stuck with a fridge that refuses to give me cubed ice. I can get all of the crushed ice I want though! POS!
