The Bluewave was back in action today. Michael Romaguera and his dad Michael were on board. The weather threw us a curveball this morning with the strong NW winds. We decided to stick with the trout plan and to my surprise when we first pulled up to the reef the water was dirty but we caught a few trout. The bite was slow with the poor conditions but I wasn't moving as long as we were catching a few. Just like Friday, the wind calmed and switched to a more southerly direction which was the light switch. Shrimp creole under a cork worked best to start but as the water cleaned up we took the corks off and went tightline. On our way back to the dock I stopped at a bank because Mike Jr. wanted a few reds for the grill. We made a drift picking up 3 keepers before calling it a day.
