Look for flats with creeks running into them. Don't hesitate to fish the bends, grass lines, and drop offs of these creeks if you aren't getting bigger fish up shallow. Cover a lot of water ... I personally like a big spinner bait or squarebill for this time of year... and slow down after that first bite.

All you will need can be found in Hausen or 6 Mile... Hurricane Creek, 944, Indian Creek, Ashmore Creek, or Big Sandy. You have a straight shot to Lowes Creek and further down is Indian Mounds. Both are well known for this time of year, but have produced huge fish. Typically what it all boils down to is covering as much water as you can until you find them. Like others said it shouldn't be hard, but its good to have a 8-15ft game plan when you arent catching the bigger fish.

Not sure what the run off will do to these areas as far as clarity. Lake is sitting at 170.48...
