Default 10/3/14 Fishing a front

Being a guide we don't get to pick what days we get to fish based on weather. There are plenty of variables that are involved when deciding to reschedule a trip. Today was one of those days that normally you wouldn't fish but if the customer wants to go then you go. We had to wait for the front to come thru then off we went. Gray skies made it feel like it was going to be a tough day and it started that way. Fortunately with 3 boats running today our team worked together and everyone had a great day considering the conditions. The trout are still not big but they were mad at our Shrimp Cocktail Vortex Shad on a double rigged on Golden Eye jig heads. We had the trout coming in so fast that many never made the basket but instead made the floor. Definitely one of those days you need to go to know. Thanks Capt. Marty for running the second boat.
