Salinity Level Comparison Cypremort Point
Since Vermilion Bay has become a hot topic, I thought I might submit two charts taken from the NOAA website focusing on the salinity levels at Cypremort Point. The first chart is from November of last year during Thanksgiving week. Nice sized specks were being caught in the bay at this time. The second chart is the salinity level now. Prior to the front, the salinity level was between 0 and 1. With the salinity rising, the specks should start showing up at the Point if they haven't already. Once it pushes to 5, they should be there.
