This is actually the 7/22 pictures with report from this afternoon (7/24). We went straight to the drum hole at the SW corner and dropped anchor at 3:00 PM. A shrimp boat rode by at 3:20 and we already had a huge bull red and two gafftops in the box. The shrimp boat yelled that there was bad weather heading in from the east. I made a quick call to my wife to check the weather radar, and we decided to stay for a bit. Then bang-bang, we had two more bull reds in the boat in no time, so we pulled anchor and headed back to the dock.

Water was clear and beautiful. Bait busting everywhere with some kind of forked tail fish busting 'em. Only seaweed we saw was on the boat ramp, a week or so old and rotting. Water was clear and beautiful.
