Since the fourth of July the fishing and catching has just been awesome. Limits of speckled trout as well as limits of redfish have come to the dock each day. Solid 3, 4 and 5 pound trout have been caught on live shrimp, live mullet and Hackberry Hustlers rigged on light lead heads over oyster reefs on the south end of the lake.
