I called bents and they do it in house but charge the standard $100 hour labor rate so it was $100 but that includes the hub.
I called a couple other dealers and they both said they send the props out to have it done and it would cost $60, then I asked who the guy was that does it for them and he told me it was Prescission Propeller Services in Metairie so I called them directly and he said he only charges $30 to do it.
so I cut out the middle man and brought my prop straight to Prescission Friday evening and I picked it up this morning, total cost was $32.63
I suspect the guy tboy mentioned would be about the same.
just goes to show if your dealer needs to send anything out for it to be done, if you ask questions you can cut out the middle man and save a lot of money sometimes.
