For my pear tree and other fruit trees.....

I put out 13-13-13 usually in Feb. after there has been a week of 65+ F temperature. Somewhere around a pound or 1.5 lbs per inch diameter. I use a small cup and "toss" the fertilizer up in the air about 10 feet out around the plant drip line. Toss it up in the air, spreads it out fairly good to keep it even around the plant.

Then in late May or June......sometimes I put out a little more. How much depends on how the plant has grown during the spring. Don't put out very much or it could be too much while the fruit is growing.

Watering after fertilizing is good.....but I usually don't do it.
