Most likely august you won't find Ling, there migration is right now. Mangrove and grouper and red snapper can be found at the nearshore reefs. Also you can troll the beach about 1mile out for kings and bonito. Typically I look for 65-75 ft of water for that And tie on a rapala deep dive troll bait or a stretch 25. Purple/black, blue/black, pink, and mahi color have worked for me in the past.
