Reds On The DU!
Enjoyed a good trip fishing with Bruce Broussard and his crew. The winds were up and we elected to stay in the marsh and beat the banks for redfish. The water was very stained but the reds didn't mind one bit. No fast & furious action as we picked away all morning until we had a nice box. Capt Brady and I picked up the crew at their houseboat and only had a short 10 minute boat ride to catch the reds. No live bait was used as we caught everything on LSU and black/chartreuse chubs,gold spoons and other soft plastics. On the second day, Capt Brady brought a couple of the guys offshore catching 30 trout in rough conditions. Everyone had a great time doing the DU!. Good luck fishing.
