After yesterday's bust on the trout I didn't know what to expect today. Luckily the infamous Otis Taylor with his Texas boys came down to celebrate Paul getting married over the summer and turned the speck bite on. The trout were real nice with most going 15-18inches. We started the morning off catching them on a Shrimp Creole Matrix under a cork and then switched to a Green Hornet tight lined. The trout are not schooled up so we were on the trolling motor all day. Still no birds but a handful of oyster reefs produced a great catch. Good luck Paul with your upcoming wedding.
