I have never suggested there be no limit on deer in Louisiana, just fewer rules. Kill limit + limited open dates are sufficient to keep harvest numbers within sustainable ranges in the ten existing zones.

On top of this, we need some basic laws to enhance safety and protect landowner rights from trespassing hunters, but I'd think you should be able to fit a simple and effective set of deer regs in 5 pages or so.
Make it legal to shoot trespassers and that stuff would stop in a hurry.
