James and Mark Chesbro from Alaska joined me today. The guys didn't know what they were in store for, as it turned out to be the best fishing trip of their lives. James used to guide fishing trips and said he had never experienced a bite like he did today down in Terrebonne Parish. We departed the lodge at 8 am and were fishing shortly after. We found a good bite boating 45 reds, all caught and released. We left the area once things slowed down a bit. Our next stop found Mark reeling in a 26 inch red the biggest of the day. Our final stop had the reds stacked so thick it was ridiculous. The guys caught fish every cast till # 101 hit the deck and the guys have up!!! We left the reds biting everycast!! No place like the Du!! Any color Matrix or Vortex Shad we threw today caught fish. Most all fish were caught in 1-3 ft water depths. We didn't keep a single fish today all catch and release. Thanks guys for such a enjoyable day.
