Their simple to set up. Make sure on unit to have an in-line fuse on both positive and negative then run all wires to speakers. I bought 4-6.5" marine speakers off e-bay for $25 and bought a cheap unit from wally world for $50 and a cover. Spent less than $100 and its still trucking along. Louder than most of my friends boats that are factory. I think its 500 watts RMS. I hardly ever turn it on unless im in a "redneck yacht club"
