Is golden meadow generally consistant bite all winter? Since V/B and Burns Point is winding down, I am looking to learn some new areas.
I like Dularge, but Golden Meadow is about the same distance for me. And I can stop by Collins Oysters also on the way home.

Last year I started out in Leeville and ended up heading North to Catfish Lake. It's much more consistent this time of the year. I really like the Leeville area but why make the longer drive to Leeville when I usually end up running my boat back up to Golden Meadow? Also watch the tides. A falling tide later in the morning is best. Early fishing has never been to good for me there during the winter. Wait until the sun is up and its warming up a bit. Good Luck
