My Lew's outcasts both my RevoS, I've switched strings and rods in every config you can just to test them, and the Lew's wins every time. Not to mention it was cheaper... Have only fished salt with them, oddly enough my shimanos (youngest reels I own, and are spinning)are what are giving me problems.

Find someone with them and throw what you like, then decide. In reality, every company makes a bad product sooner or later, and proper upkeep and maintenance prevent most of the common complaints with any of them.

Ever see a guy running down the road with stuff stacked up higher than the roof of his truck, yet nothing falls out???? Well, if I do that I wouldn't get out the driveway, same thing with everything I own - I'm not lucky enough to be able to use a reel as a wheel chock, or shotgun as an anchor and still have it work flawlessly.
