Dularge Trout Fishing
Saturday morning trout slam! Got an early start from the 'Lakehouse' with John Meek,J.P. Perrault and Kevin Vaughan from the Baton Rouge area. The guys wanted some trout fillets and they got all they wanted. We started the morning off catching about 20 trout on bunker swim baits and VuDu shrimp under a cork. We started our morning right where we left the trout biting the afternoon before. We didn't experience the same bite so we moved to a couple more locations eventually finding the motherload. The crew really got into the fish catching them at will almost every cast. These guys were a blast to fish with!! At 8:30 John asked me how many fish did we have and I replied 85. He said that's enough and the crew was ready to go. We were back at the dock shortly after and the guys were on the road for 9:20. Capts Rodney & Gerald limited out too as it was a great morning to do the DU!
