Tuesday Slam!
Dularge Trout Fishing
Day 2 with Guff Thorpe and crew was another good one. Overcast skies at daybreak turned into a bluebird day with a steady NE wind. We mostly fished the reefs today with a good falling tide. Single rigged LSU chubs tightlined in 2-3 ft of water did the trick. The crew had to work a little more than yesterday and was rewarded with a great catch of 173 trout, 6 reds and a stud flounder tipping the scales at 5lb 2 oz. All fish caught in Sister Lake,Moncleuse Bay and Lake Mechant. Big thanks to Capts Travis & Brady for taking good care of their crew. The guys have 435 trout cleaned and packed and we'll get them on some big fish tomorrow for a change of pace. Good luck fishing.
