VBay 8/8
C Mouton and I busted them yesterday. We hit the reefs at daybreak and after a few stops, "It was on like Donkey Kong." Most were caught on various 1/8 ounce jigs(Chicken on a Chain, LSU, Plumtruse, Only a penny) Some caught on swimbaits, corks, and topwater. Several blowups on topwater but they were short striking. Sharks were out in full force. Water was beautiful so Im sure Maxie Pierces and Dagos will be happy! We finished our limit of 50 around 9:15 and began to catch and release another 20. The new to them 24ft blazer ran like a champ and seems to be a fish magnet. 3 trips in it and all have been good trips. Salinity at the point was at 17.4 at the Point yesterday at 4:00. I dont think ive ever seen it that high.
