It has nothing to do with "being better than" anyone. People that help pay the bills get some perks. I pay a lot of money out of pocket (not to mention my time) to keep the site running, and I assure you, I'm not making any profit. And sponsorships are cheap, as will be the premium memberships. For $5k you can buy my part of the entire site.
