I have to agree. Caught a 9.5lb bass in my early teens and distinctly remember the fish swimming straight to me, putting up almost no fight. Caught the fish in shallow water on a parrot colored baby 1 minus and I can still replay watching that white belly roll on that bait.

My biggest speck is 6.5 and I feel that the fight is much more thrilling.

Give me the speck.
