Tough couple of days on the water
Yesterday fished Moss, Turners, and a couple reefs mid lake and worked our tails off for 14 fish. Caught most of them mid lake, so ran straight to that reef this morn thinking we should burn them up. Had a good tide to work with and winds were not too bad, but only managed 8 trout fishing from 8-12. Definitely should have been out there earlier but late night BBQ and whiskey got the better of me. With these warmer temps, good tide range, and overall good forcast I thought we would have done much better. From the way everyone was running and gunning on the lake and lack of reports I am thinking most people had a tough go of it. Anyone do well last couple days care to share some insight??
