It takes up the entire pond. I don't think a black bird could land in it. I think we might clean out most of it. If it is just cut down or buffaloed will it come back?

It has similar root structure to cattails so it will need at the very least some disking to help control it, you may be able to find some help online to control it under moist-soil management
