I have never heard of "galvanized Aluminum". Do you mean galv. steel?

Most steel roofing material is designed to overlap when you install it. Maybe you can get a piece 10 foot long material.....cut it in half and install it. Use the sheet metal screws that have a rubber washer. Galvalume (sp) is what is used on most metal buildings, but cheaper material would do just fine for a blind.

As for the slope......you might have to cut a 2x4 or 2x6 "long ways". Install this on the roof before you put on the roofing material. I can cut it for you if you need some help.
