Default Venice Bulls

Ran a trip today for Shawn of Fish On Guide Services. My bay boat performed perfectly. In order to fish in the skinny waters i had to use all my extras on the boat. We were targeting reds. The first place I went to we found some fish but they were not agressive and no water was moving. After about 2 hours I made a big change by picking up and moving to another area far away. This move cost me about 10 gallons of extra gas but it made the trip.

It was not long before the action started.

The fish hit the deck and when they did there was a thump and the boat shook.

Ya need a bigger net!!!!

We got some nice pictures today and all went back to make more customers happy.

The water although clean by our standards made it hard to see the fish.

This was the smallest of the day and it also went back after the picture.

The last of the day ran into the rozos and under the roots. We had to follow it into the weeds and as we got back most of our line the fish was so big it ripped the rozo roots up and made a dash for the open pond.

At this point we thought the fight was over but it got a second wind and headed back towards the rozos again.

Fighting this fish on a shimano curado reel gave the fish a chance to make a show for himself and it did not let us down. Nice way to end the day.

It also was reeleased to fight another day.

Life is Good!
Fishing is not a matter of life or death. It's more important than that.
