Couldn’t think of a better way to spend my birthday then on the water with a couple of fishing buddy’s. Hit the lake this morning with Ray and Jchief and found the trout along with some reds and flounder just outside of Turners and found some more around the Pelican Point area also. There were several baits used today and it was the natural Vudu Shrimp, Vudu Gold, Bone Kick A Mullet, Chrome Black Back Kick A Mullet and Salty Grub which was used by Jchief.
Found several sets of birds working good in various areas of the lake. The water looked awesome with a slight stain to it and the temp was running between 59 and 61 degrees. The wind was very light and started to pick up as the day went on. It was a good day to be on the water. I got stuck with the job of bagging all the fish for some reason.
