Good advice from Dawg. And don't worry too much about the price of calls. Find one that sounds good to you and that you can get good sounds out of. You will hear stories all the time about people hearing what they think is another hunter with the worst sounding box call ever, only to find out it is a hen. "Some of the worst calling I've ever heard was a turkey hen", is something you will hear A LOT!!

Get a bunch of calls and try em out. Doesn't hurt. Besides, you will handicap yourself severely if you only have one or two calls. The more calls, the better chance you'll have one that will get him hot.
