good looking stix you have there young man, i like that reel that's what i need then all i gotta do is cast and drink adult beverage and press da buttonbut then i never git to go fishinnn no mo cause i be up to my hyyynna in rod bidness kaint seem to ketch up fer tryynnn.
looks like we got that lower grip just about right for the rod holders on your boat.
folks you see with the reel and then the electric motor below that he needed enough lenghth so that he could put the rod in the rod holder and it be able to stand up right without the reel rubbing the deck , this would have created a lot of problem's like when he was running the boat and such, another reason why a custom rod builder sometimes plays a part in giving a customer a quality piece of equipment something you cant just go buy off the shelf, any way glad you like your stix and if i can be of any further help just let me know and thanks for allowing billystix custom rods to build for you
