October Ling off Cameron
We decided to go back to see if the ling were still hanging around a few blocks out of Cameron, I was weary due to the fact it was getting into October and the water temps are starting to drop. The areas in very shallow water that were holding the ling were no where to be found. So headed deeper and it found some clearer water and the fish also. Triple Tail are pretty much gone but the big Ling are still there- All these fish were deep and we brought back 6 big ones and released several towards the end. At one point we were 3 for 9 on Ling breaking off on several bruts buldoging into the rig- They were coming up and following spooks but we never hooked up-
