Good luck to your son getting a co op position. They are pretty competitive so he either needs a high gpa or you need to be able to pull strings. They are usually offered in the summer and at a pretty good pay. I made 26 dollars an hour during my internship my last semester of college. Some work around your school schedule, some are full time requiring the semester off. But in my opinion, if there is a choice between taking a semester off to co op full time or decline and just go to school, I would opt for going to school
