A good rule of thumb for me is to stick to the more open bodies of water during strong tidal movements and go to the deeper passes like rigolets,chef,etc.during neap tides.But that being said I've done great at the passes on strong tides but usually at or near the switch,the big girls turn on at the tide change you can take that to the bank!
