Went to Galveston surf yesterday hoping to get on the trout. Winds made a S/SSE switch and chopped up the surf
. Couldn't get any on plastic or mid range Mirrolure. Went to live shrimp on a cork and caught 1 nice keeper bout 20 in. After that nuttin but dinks just under 15 in. After taking a beating from the waves, switched to Carolina Rig w/ live shrimp & dead shrimp and caught 3 reds, 2 drum and a number of large channel mullet/whiting.
Finally got to get out and hit it.
