Not far past that just before the mermentau bridge there is a old crab dock on the right with pilings. There is a posted sign on a tree but I have been there several times and nobody told me anything. See other people fishing there as well. Mostly redfish,drum,and plenty of crabs at that spot. You used to be able to fish right under the bridge off the bank but they fenced the area in. There is another area just north of the bridge but it is really nasty from people littering and old crab lines. Such a shame how some people have no respect.
