bought my first boat about 6 years ago. the man who it was for was out of town so i dealt with his wife. she forgot to mention the the hitch on boat was 2 5/16". i paid her for boat hooked it on my 2" ball and took off. got to butte larose exit to take it for test run in henderson. hit a bump on exit ramp, trailer jumped off ball and smashed through my tailgate. i freaked out and hit brakes only to make it smash through tailgate again. then i launch the boat and my cousin put the plugs in. well he didnt put one in good enough or something b/c it popped out and we started sinking. i have done some dumb things in my day but this ranks up there with the top 5. it is just the first that comes to my head.
