I had the pleasure of fishing with Dave & Kellie Broussard and Craig & Nicole Laviolette. We knew we were faced with tough conditions as all of the areas holding trout are dirty. We had Plan B in effect from the get go. With the tide being low we could not get into the honey hole so we started in a protected bayou hooking up with three reds. The action was slow so we moved on. We found a area with crystal clear water and boated three more reds. Moved around finding a few trout another red and a flounder. Slow slow slow all day. We called it a day at 12:00 so my crew could get cleaned up before heading home. Every single boat that we spoke with on the water and at the dock did not have a single fish. It was one of those days that really make you appreciate all the good ones we normally have. We have calm winds fore-casted later in the week and I'm certain the trout bite is going to E X P L O D E. I want to thank my crew for sticking it out on such a tough day.
