Several newssites reporting here is the Huffington Post, but in reality Al Jazeera is probably a better source of info for the US than HP

Yes, this has been known for sometime, the stories are just breaking. There is oil right now in places, and that dispersant was probably much worse than the oil itself. We will be hearing about this for years. Like the article mentioned, more than one generation of shrimp have come and gone so teh genetic effects can be shown, I hope this isn't shown in longer lived species like fish, but?
On the lighter side: the trout ought to be able to catch plenty of shrimp since they have no eyes!
