If you can create ripples on the water and a little bit of motion in the decoys then that's game over for any ducks flying over. I like jerk rigs too, but be careful because one of my buddies bought one last season i think it was a mojo brand and didn't work worth a damn. Those quiver magnets work good for creating ripples with only last about two hours on a set of batteries usually.
