I have a gtr ad still fish offshore on VERY calm days. You'd just hve to be smart about what your doin and be very diligent if any little thing changes. But if it was me, I would keep the bay boat and lay off the throttle or have a small project boat. you can never have too many boats.
And y'all can have those gps coordinates if you like hardhead catfish. We prolly pulled up 40 right there about 4 lbs each.
