That just depends on how far you want to go with the motor. Your biggest drag is the tunnel, they are geat for what they are designed for, speed ain't it. As for the motor, start with a reed plate modification and see what you gain. If you still want more, you are then ready for a set of 60 carbs. It would be useless to do the carbs before the reed plate. You must understand that your gains on a tunnel will not be as drastic as the same mods on a non-tunnel boat.
