Default 12/7 Prien II

Hit Prien after the sun came out for a quick trip. Fished 8:30-10:00. Lots of birds but mostly scattered. Water was decent. Obviously it was cold. I concentrated on the dropoffs into the deeper channel and just made a bunch of drifts picking up one or two each drift. A few were decent size. Nothing spectacular, but nothing I had to measure. Everything was caught on pearl gulp swimming mullet. Bouncing slow on the bottom. It was a nice change of pace from work.

Got a surprise when I headed back to the neighborhood launch. I've been using this launch for 15 years and this was the lowest I've ever seen it. Strong North wind and falling tide put the hurt on me. I had to get out of the boat and push it over a low spot at the launch. A nice way to finish off my first trip in a long time.
