I dont know what i'm doing wrong, cant seem to catch like the rest of the guys out there.
I fished fresh water all my life and can catch brem and sac a lait all day long. But this salt water is throwing me for a loop.
I tried different hook sizes and stuff. Still cant get the big reds, trout or flounder.
Guidance needed... Thanks everyone.
Hang in there, Big Lake is not an easy place to learn. If there is any kind of west wind like we have had lately focus on the channel or long point/wash out area as the east side will usually not be the place to be. Try live shrimp about 24 inches under a cork v/s dead. Get a hook & Line map and you will find the places I am speaking of. Also afternoon fishing is better right now, good luck and keep us posted.
