Started my day at 2:30 am Saturday to go to Hopedale. Waited almost an hour to get to the boat launch.

We rode and fished and rode and fished some more! If 11 3/4" trout were legal, I'd been cleaning fish all night!

Catching doubles repeatedly but not many were legal. Reaction Strike Jerk Jr's were rollin em though! It was an awesome day for the most part and I lost several good ones at the boat including one that was a monster that was easily larger than any trout I'd ever caught before.
It was a fun day with Edmond Rachal and his son Edmond Jr.! I had a lot of fun watching this father-son team catch fish and ran the net and trolling motor for the most part. Even though most of what we caught was too small, it kept this young man busy and grinning!
I have to say that I have every "jackarse" boater/pilgrim story beat though!!!!! We had drifted nearly 300 yards and was picking up fish after fish! Two #%@*&$# in a bateau hollered over at me from 50 yards or so asking if I had a light. I had a cigarette in my mouth at the time so, I couldn't really say no. Well, they finally get their 9.9 started and come scootin right on over! I had to reel in to keep them off my line! Then the dumbass had the nerve to ask how the fishing was going!!! I said things to them that I won't repeat here and held back then because there was a kid on board with me! They figured out I was pissed and went on about their way driving straight through the birds that I was wanting to hit!

I wanted to swamp em when I left out but, again, there was a kid on my boat.
All in all, a good day with two great friends! Fishing could have been better size wise but, as you'll see below, my little paudna was plum tuckered out from fishin so, I am calling it a success!
