My 11 year old Thomas and I hit the rigs in Dularge on Monday. Got to one spot at 8:30. We picked-up 18 fish on plastics (glow bayou chubs). Well all of a sudden a boat with 5 guys pull up about 25 yards from us throwing live croakers.....
Our bite turned off..
...they were killing the specs & I could not even get a bite using GULP swrimps. I have heard how someone fishing live bait next to someone fishing plastics will shout down your bite; however, I have never had it happen to....will not happen again. All in all, a good moring of fishing with my son. Regardless we had to leave early since he had a baseball game I was leaving today (TUES) morning on buisness for TENN til THURS...BTW, sorry for the PIC quality....my son took it on my wifes Iphone.
