You can remove the center hook. A fish will grab this bait head first, so, the front treble will do most of the damage. The rear one comes in handy when they follow it to the boat and take a shot right before you pick it up.
I change the hooks to Gamakatsu EWG #4. If they get anywhere near it...it'll git 'em.
