Sabine Lake is the best kept secret in Louisiana saltwater fishing. No matter how hard the wind blows from any direction you can catch a limit of fish. The best part is hardly anyone fishes it. On a weekday you might see 3 to 5 boats, a weekend maybe 10. With hard south winds just head to the southeast corner of the lake and look for the slicks. It's that easy.
