Hey WO, Thank you. I really do like the YF21 - 51 hrs now. It did take a few trips to get used to sitting down to run. I find that sitting down is very comfortable especially on long runs - say Rigolets to the end of the MRGO jetties. It runs the chop fast and comfortable with the Mitigator seating cushions. Also floats pretty skinny for what it is - a V pad.
I really like the open fishability and the giant front deck. The boat keeps ice better than anything I have seen, as all boxes are insulated. It only carries 6 rods under the deck sort of a PITA, so I am having a starboard center rack done to load 8 more rods (nearly 8ft long) under the front deck for big trips on long road hauls. The rods will sit about 15 inches above the subfloor, so I can still keep my gear under the rods - already tested the raw design with bungees to simulate and it works great. The SHO has been a monster on the 21. The Bravo1XS is the speed prop BUT not tough enough for the mixed shell areas that we have been fishing, so I run a Rev 4 23 as a work prop. If I missed something, let me know.
