y would you ever want to sling redfish in the boat with any high end rod? that in no way shows rod performance. it will show rod durability however. I have a few waterloo rods and i like them very much but the are not my favorite. They are built on batson blanks in the 40 to 60 dollar price range although they would probably never tell you or anyone else that. I found out the hard way with comparisions on a rod wrack if you know what that is.
because the blank is 40 to 60 dollars in no way means that it is a cheap rod. the manufacturer has to make money somewhere the complete rod price is high because of their good warranty which in most cases is 50 dollar replacement or if found to be a faulty blank free.
